Join us for a fun filled afternoon on campus with something for the whole family. Take a future-focused tour through our outdoor learning center, highlighting what opportunities will soon be available to students from pre-k to graduation. Music, science, art, and many more subjects will be touched with deep learning exploration in this new space. Start off your day with relaxation and yoga, create take-home mother’s day personalized gifts, learn about sustainability and gardening in a playful way, join in coordinated activities for visitors big and small, and listen to wonderful performances by our students, faculty/staff, alumni, and community members. This past year, we were able to schedule increased time spent outdoors - teaching, learning, and exploring nature. It was a positive experience that led to a deeper desire to build a Nature Explore Classroom, allowing children to explore and develop a connection to the natural world through engaging in open-ended play. St. Andrew’s School will be applying for Nature Explore Certification by meeting the yearly requirements: well-designed outdoor space based on guiding principles and curriculum requirements, staff development, and family involvement. There are six main areas of improvement available for dedicated naming opportunities.
